Cheap T1 Lines

Are you running a small business and cannot afford to spend thousands of dollars a month for T1 line high speed Internet access? Do you keep wondering where you can get T1 line services for the prices you want? It is not possible for small and medium sized businesses to afford expensive full service T1 lines and nor do they need it.

T1 tariffs will vary depending on the location, state tariffs for T1, competition in a location, mileage and available capacity. Stiff competition will always result in plummeting prices, just like it recently happened in Chicago, Illinois. The lowest T1 rates vary from $300 to $450 dollars per month for a low speed connection and short contract period with the company.

The best way to get cheap T1 lines is to shop around for it thoroughly. Do not be satisfied with one quote from one T1 line provider. Finding out all the available features for the lowest monthly rents before coming to a decision will ensure that you are getting the best deal you could afford. You can also get instant quotes from websites and compare prices from different providers in your area. This will give you a rough idea what you are up against as far as pricing, features and services in your area is concerned.

Broadband.com has T1 line services starting as low as $69 dollars for a business DSL for very limited features and their full T1 line is offered for a monthly rent of $399 dollars.

Broadbandbuyer.com gives T1 lines for as low as $290 dollars per month and this includes full T1 line service. The local ISP of New Jersey has 1.5 Mbps for $495 per month.

Net Logic?s Internet service T1 line prices start from $399 dollars a month. Though their highest price range goes up to even $1000 dollars a month, they also have cheaper offers for small time business men.

What's The Difference Between Frame Relay Private Line & A PointToPoint T1?

How is an expensive frame relay type service to the internet different than a less expensive plain T1 to the internet....AND how are either of these different from a private line or point-to-point T1?

Here's my opinion......

Don't worry about the technology difference between frame relay and a plain T1....or either of these and a private line or point to point T1.

A frame T1 runs at just about the same speed as a point to point T1. Much more important to worry about is what's on the other end of the circuit. If the other end of the circuit is the internet backbone, and you have 1.5M throughput to the backbone, then that's a dedicated connection, the best grade of service you can get. If the other end of the circuit is to a carrier's serving office, or DSLAM, or aggregation point, then the 1.5M throughput is to their equipment, not to the internet backbone, and you have a shared connection. A shared connection means that your provider has arranged for a bulk internet connection from a larger carrier and it splits some out for you -- but rarely do they split out your bandwidth only for you.

For example a shared provider might buy a wholesale DS-3 from Global Crossing. A DS-3 is the equivalent of 28 T1 circuits. The shared ISP would try to have many customers sharing that T1 circuit, much more than 28 customers -- that's how they make money.

Same thing with phone systems -- you might have twenty extension phones in your office, but only 5 phone lines with the phone company. This recognizes that not all users need to use the phone at the same time.

In the internet world, shared ISPs are betting that not all customers need their full bandwidth at the same time. If a shared provider pays $6000 per month for a DS-3, and sells T1s for $300/month, they break even at 20 customers. ISPs will oversell their bandwidth because not all customers need their full bandwidth at all times. If you've been reading this message for the past 15 seconds, and your PC is doing nothing else, you haven't used your bandwidth for the past now 20 seconds.

Now.....if you need the internet circuit for email, and looking at web pages, and research, a shared T1 connection is fine. But if you're running time sensitive or bandwidth hogging applications like hosting a website at your location, or if you're running VOIP applications, or streaming audio or video, or controlling machinery remotely ... then a shared T1 connection will be a big PIA (pain in the *&!) at some point during the month when the other customers will be sucking up all the bandwidth leaving you with less than you are paying for.

So don't worry about the technology of the access circuit, worry about what's on the other end. If you can get away with a shared T1 connection, you'll save some loot. If you have critical applications, then your life will be filled with drama until you get a dedicated T1 connection.

High Speed Internet Providers How Do You Choose?

If you work at home using the internet or are frequently on the internet checking out websites, then you will want to look into service from a high speed internet provider. There are several ways to connect to the internet in order that you receive this quicker service. You can look into DSL which is at least 5 times faster than dial up and runs through the phone line. Cable and satellite internet access are the other choices. After you choose which connection you are interested in, then you need to find the high speed internet provider that offers that particular service.

DSL is a great option for people who live close to the central office where the DSL comes from. DSL is distance sensitive, which means that you need to be within three miles of the office of your high speed internet provider to receive the best connection. The best way to find out about DSL is to ask neighbors if they use it and if the do, ask if they are satisfied with it. DSL is always on, so you do not have to wait for it to connect to the internet. With better speed than the dial up method, this may be the right choice for you.

Cable internet runs through your cable line and has amazing speed. Downloading is quick and easy and it is always on for your convenience. The only drawback to cable internet may be the high cost that these high speed internet providers charge. There may be package deals with your cable TV service or a reduced priced if you accept a slower access speed, so ask if there are any discounts that are available. Cable internet is a wonderful option for those users who are on the internet several times a day.

Satellite internet may be the only option for consumers in rural and out of the way areas. Satellite internet uses satellites in outer space for internet connection. This is a faster option than dial up, but may be dependent upon the weather, although most consumers only have problems during major storms. Ask neighbors about their internet service and if they use satellite internet service. This is the best way to find out which high speed internet provider will work for you.

High speed internet providers fill a vital need for internet users. The important thing to do is to research the provider group of your choice until you find a high speed internet provider that offers what you need for you and your family. Once you do this, then you sure to find the high speed internet service that is right for you!

Out on the Road? Now We Can Hook Our Laptops to Highspeed Mobile Wireless Broadband Internet

I don?t know much about technology. It?s just not my field of expertise; I?m a creative writer. However, as I work for an Internet company I have come to realize the powerful ideas that my fellow office-mates/nerds (cool nerds: E.g. Napoleon Dynamite) come up with, and how these ideas are changing our world for the better. The latest idea that has come to fruition, to me, seems like an amazing accomplishment for all of humanity to partake in, even writers. Mobile, wireless, broadband Internet means we can now go on the Internet when we are on the move, or away from our homes and offices.

If you want to know more about the technology behind wireless Internet, check out http://www.theunwired.net/, or http://www.iburst.com.au. This is really cool stuff. Picture a few of these scenarios?

You are a creative person, writer/graphic artist who doesn?t like to work indoors. You need the fresh air blowing in your face, sun warming your skin, to get the imagination flowing. You feel like sitting in the park but would also like to have access to the Internet to do research, as well as add to your blog or website portfolio. Stick one of these magic laptop modems with its own antenna into your computer and as long as there?s coverage you?re on your way to creating your life?s work.

What if you?re into big business, a company executive, or need to communicate with your colleagues regularly? Now you?re on the road, in a taxi, going very quickly down the highway. There?s no need for this to be ?down time? for you anymore. You can email, send files, and if you?re especially techno-savvy, you can hook up a webcam and voice-over IP and have meetings ?face to face? while on the go. Moving from office to office, and staying in hotel rooms far from home makes no difference, as you are always able to connect. Talk about limiting loss of production due to time and space constraints!

Imagine you are a university student who has to move house a lot due to short leases and sometimes-unfriendly relations with roommates. You no longer will need to be concerned with disconnection and reconnection hassles, especially the added fees. As this technology also caters for individuals, you won?t have to worry about your buddies downloading heaps of your cash with the usual wireless network setups in houses by telling you that you have to pay an ?equal? share of their activity. However, there are no limits to how many connections are in one house, so all your friends or family can have their own.

There are also desktop versions if you are in an area that doesn?t have access to ADSL, or you don?t want to use a phone line to access the Web. The mobile version of iBurst is just like a normal wireless system except it uses a system of base stations that transmit the network to the wireless modems. So, if you?re at school, work, the library, airport, business meeting, or even the beach (if it is under coverage) you can surf the web (after the waves) and send important emails. There are a few issues with places like parking lots and subways where the radio frequency may sometimes be unable to pierce through deep layers of concrete, or where towers are too far apart so the connection drops in and out. I expect my nerd friends will solve these problems and any others that arise as the technology develops further. The nerds can do it all. Check out Napoleon Dynamite?s dance moves: www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/napoleon. Now all we have to do is wait for them to expand from their tunnel-vision focus on technology, to developing the means to creating a utopian society. I don?t know, maybe that?s where us creative folk come into play?

Satellite Internet Access What You Should Know Before You Buy

When it comes to choosing a broadband internet connection, you only have three major options to choose from, cable, DSL, and satellite internet. Of the three, cable and DSL are the fastest, but they are not portable, and they are not available in most rural areas. However, satellite internet service can be had almost anywhere in the northern hemisphere where you have an unobstructed view of the southern sky, and in some cases you can even take it with you as you travel.

So how does satellite internet service work anyway? Well, the internet data is transmitted to a network of satellites that orbit high in our earth's atmosphere. From there it is beamed down to be received by those who have the necessary equipment to be able to decode it and display at on their computers. So in order to receive satellite internet service, you will need to have a satellite dish, and modems for both uploading and downloading data from the satellite, as well as a capable computer system.

Because high speed satellite internet service is not dependent on cables or wires it can be received almost anywhere, and therefore it makes an excellent choice for those who live in rural parts of the country, or those who live in areas where cable and DSL are not available, and who want to take advantage of a high speed broadband internet connection.

Although satellite internet service is much faster then dial-up, in fact almost ten times as fast, it does not approach the ultra-fast speeds of both cable and DSL service. So if cable and DSL are available to you, either one of them may be a better choice for broadband internet access. However, in the absence of either cable or DSL, satellite internet service is much more preferable then dial-up.

Another great advantage of satellite internet service is its portability for people who are always on the go and travel a lot. For instance, many RVers make good use of satellite internet in order to have a high speed web connection pretty much anywhere they go across the country.

There are generally two options for these kind of travelers, either tripod mounted satellite dishes, or vehicle mounted units. Actually, either one can work very well when correctly set up, but the tripod mounted dishes provide much more flexibility for location of the dish, and they also cost quite a bit less than the vehicle mounted units when initially purchased. There are several companies that now have this kind of equipment available for sale, and they can be found very easily by making a search on the internet.

As you can see, there are a lot of reasons why satellite internet access can be a good choice for many consumers, but there are also drawbacks that must be considered as well. Hopefully, the information that we presented in this article can help you make an informed decision before you buy satellite internet services.

Satellite Internet Access

The Internet is a terrestrial-based system, and satellite Internet technology utilizes an extraterrestrial-based system, i.e. satellite, to get connected to the Internet backbone. The need for the access through satellite is the lack of DSL and cable lines in remote areas and in mobile situations such as seafaring vessels.

Satellite Internet access works through a dish at the customer?s location, which sends radio frequencies from the computer to the satellite. The dish is usually of 1.2 m diameter. The customer?s location may be equipped with a satellite modem to convert digital information into analog form. The customer?s location may be a single PC or networked workstations. This obviates the need for telephone lines.

At the other end, the satellite sends back the frequencies to the teleport at a ground station where a number of large aperture dishes are placed. From here, the data is sent to the network system, which consists of routers and optical cables that connect to the Internet backbone. As the Internet backbone is shared by many service providers, the bandwidth availability is restricted by the terrestrial Internet infrastructure.

At the user?s location, the access is determined by the level of service required, whether it is one-way or two-way satellite service. One-way service may require a regular dial up service. A user may need to have a minimum of Windows- or Mac-supported PC with a networking capability. Other requirements include Ethernet port. Other than hardware requirements, software programming to manage interfaces is required.

Broadband access through satellite is a costly alternative to cable modems and DSL. The access is limited by the costly installations and the weather conditions. Besides, the uplink speed is limited by the dial-up speed just like dial-up Internet. The long-haul distance between the dish and satellite results in delay of the access.

Satellite Internet provides detailed information on Satellite Internet, Satellite Internet Services, Satellite Internet Access, Satellite Internet Providers and more. Satellite Internet is affiliated with High Speed Internet Services.

3 Tips to Fix Unreliable Wireless Connections

Generally speaking, wireless computer connections are reliable. However, nothing is perfect, and sometimes you may lose your connection or experience a weak signal. There are many factors that impact the reliability of your wireless connection.

For example, if your wireless adapter is too close to a 2.4 GHz wireless telephone, you may notice a decrease in your computer?s wireless single strength. Why? Because the phone and the computer reside on the same frequency and can interfere with each other?s performance.

Handy Repair Checklist for Wireless Interruptions

1.First check to see if your cable or DSL is actually working. Usually located in your basement, most modems have four lights. You have a live Internet connection if the ?data? or ?status? light is on. If it?s off, or flashing, your cable is out.

2.If your cable/DSL is working, then reboot your computer. Sometimes, if your cable/DSL goes out for even 10 seconds, your computer and the wireless router may no longer be able to talk to each other. By rebooting your computer, a new IP address is assigned, allowing them to once again communicate.

3.If your desktop is wireless and you?ve moved the wireless adapter [the box that sits next to the computer with antennas, then you may need to move the adapter until you find a stronger signal.

Seeking The You in ICQ

Uh oh! At the familiar, high-pitched voice, my head snaps up from the assignment I am completing half-heartedly and turns to my computer screen. My hand has already moved unconsciously towards the computer's mouse, even before my eyes even make contact with the screen. Sure enough, the sound indicated that a message awaits me, and I double-click on the flashing yellow icon in the bottom right corner of my screen. For almost an hour now, I have been engaged in this conversation over ICQ, an Internet-chat program, with a high school friend who currently attends another university. I am also chatting simultaneously with four other friends about separate topics.

Ever since coming to college, ICQ and email have become my primary methods of keeping in contact with, leaving messages for, and having discussions with my friends. When I meet a person, the first means for establishing future contact is no longer What is your phone number? but rather, What is your email address? which is closely followed by Do you have ICQ? Electronic communication media are not only convenient, but they are economical and allow instantaneous contact. If I initiate an ICQ Chat with one of my friends, I can even save it as a file and replay the conversation with every detail, including the misspellings and corrections.

Information technology has boomed in the last ten years or so. We seem to have landed in the middle of a completely networked world without quite knowing how we got there. Distance no longer inhibits communication, and we have become a world that is better connected.

Or have we? My freshman year college roommate spent his entire freshman year ICQ-ing / IM-ing , and surfing the web. Even when we were sitting in the same room, he always opted to initiate conversation with me through ICQ rather than simply speaking to me directly. Another one of my web-friendly friends, Jeff, spent his sophomore year in college playing an online role-playing computer game almost continuously. When he was not playing the game, he was in a hurry to get back to playing it because he felt like he was missing out as other people were playing, getting more points, and getting ahead. Unable to comprehend his obsession with these virtual friends who were assuming imaginary roles in imaginary worlds, I tried literally to tear Jeff from his computer. My actions nearly destroyed our friendship. The Internet, in the form of a game, had entrapped him within a world which slowly drew him away from the reality around him.

Although few of us become that enthralled with the Internet, we cannot help but admit that it captures our attention with a scary tenacity. An hour can pass by seemingly in the blink of an eye as we respond to email or surf the web. The very technology that expands our access to the world has helped us also to shrink into isolation. Why walk outside when you can experience a virtual 3D world in the comfort of your room with a friend from the electronic chat-room? Why visit the person two floors down, when you can email her or him? We have become satisfied with the worlds that our 17 screens present us. The Internet provides the opportunity for us to meet and to converse with new acquaintances from a range of backgrounds, experiences, and locations. But we will never meet these people face to face, even though we invest hours of our time in these relationships. For a significant number of Americans, these chat-room interactions are slowly replacing real-time friendships. Should we be concerned?

The world of film certainly isn't troubled; in fact, it encourages us to seek companionship through the Internet. In the romantic comedy You've Got Mail, Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, who are both unhappy in their existing relationships, fall in love through emailing and chatting. The movie exploits the mysterious component to a relationship over the Internet, and it conveys the message that if our relationships in our lives fail to satisfy, the solutions can be found through the Internet. In fact, maybe the Love-of-our-Life is waiting at the local chat room for us. And the Internet has even conveniently eliminated the awkwardness of the first blind date.

In being able to buy clothes, groceries, electronics, plane tickets, and just about anything else with the click of a finger while sitting in our favorite chair, isolation from human contact has become a natural and accepted part of our culture and way of life. A cheerful attendant offering to pump gas for me surprises me now, because both his presence and his friendliness are anomalies in the world around us. If the average city-dweller is seeking to exercise, he or she purchases a Walkman and jogs three times a week. Portable electronic devices such as Walkmen, cell phones, laptops, and Palm Pilots themselves promote isolationism. People pull out these devices while waiting in lines or walking to work, and instantly they erect an invisible neon sign shouting, Do NOT Disturb.

We accept and embrace the isolation technology has brought us, but our interpersonal communication skills are suffering depressing consequences, as the need for personal contact decreases. As more and more hackers spend time in front of the computer, the image of the dorky nerd who can program with his hands tied behind his back and his eyes blindfolded, but cannot carry on a normal conversation has also become more prominent. Before I began to receive his 15K emails, I never realized how much my friend David, who is studying Computer Science at Northwestern, had to say. However, in person he can rarely finish a thought or fully convey what he thinks or how he feels. Although the Internet gives people like David an outlet for expression, does it truly help them to better deal with situations where spoken communication is necessary? Perhaps with all the new developments in Internet applications, spoken communication will not be necessary in a few years. We will be able to complete all transactions without ever having to interact with another human being.

In evaluating the impact of this technology, this question inevitably arises: What is the lure of these friendships over the Net? As a semi-introvert, I sometimes choose to eat in front of my computer and chat with friends of friends of friends over ICQ rather than eat with my floor-mates in the kitchen, simply because being with other people requires a lot of energy from me. When I am typing my responses, I have the time to think them over carefully and the opportunity to pace the conversation to my level of comfort.

But perhaps chat rooms, ICQ, and Instant Messenger appeal to a deeper aspect of the human subconscious. Within our minds lives a desire for other people to perceive us in the way we want them to, rather than the way we really are. Just as we manufacture an image for ourselves through clothes, makeup, cars, and even smiles, we can create an image for ourselves though the shield of the Internet, which blocks personal observation through the senses. Other people will see only what we want them to.

As the application possibilities of this technology approach the limitless, we need to decide how much we want our lives to become more entwined within this technology. Without a balance with the reality around us, we may lose ourselves within the virtual world of the Internet. Perhaps driving to the store, picking out groceries, and getting into an argument with the checkout person will do us more good than the half hour we save by grocery shopping through HomeRuns.com.

A little over a week ago, when a virus wiped out my computer, I lost network access in my room. I dreaded the inconveniences I would face before getting my computer fixed. No more ICQ, no more instant email. For a two weeks now, I have needed to check my email in a friend's room, read a newspaper to find out the news and the weather instead of checking cnn.com, and make phone calls in order to locate people instead of ICQing them. As I evaluate these two Internet-less weeks, however, I find that I have had more intellectually stimulating conversations in this week than I have had in the previous month. Who knows? I may resist the desire to fix the connection.

Meeting Your Bandwidth Requirements For Supply Chain Management Applications

In today's business world it is critical for companies to deploy supply-chain management (SCM) systems to enhance efficiency across the product lifecycle by streamlining procurement, production, fulfillment, and distribution processes. Deploying an SCM solution that provides the intended return on investment requires that the applications, servers, and enterprise network infrastructure work together seamlessly. This is easier said than done and will necessitate a thorough evaluation of your bandwidth needs to meet the demand.

SCM solutions require integration of applications and data across multiple geographically dispersed supply chain partners, as well as internal integration with legacy systems. To ensure success, your organization must deploy robust, end-to-end dedicated bandwidth that delivers highly reliable and strictly monitored QoS (Quality of Service).

An SCM solution is only as strong as the weakest link in the chain. Access to SCM applications and data must be guaranteed for all of your users, inside and outside the enterprise. Your company must provide sufficient bandwidth to support constant data flow between desktops and servers at the company headquarters, geographically dispersed suppliers and partners, manufacturers, distributors, customer service call centers, and for mobile users and teleworkers. Connections between servers and desktops must provide the necessary bandwidth to deliver resource-intensive services, real-time application data to all users, and enable integration of disparate data sources.

At your headquarters office, where corporate Web, application, and database servers reside and WAN links converge, availability and security are key. A redundant backbone switching architecture with Gigabit Ethernet connectivity to servers and access switches is often indicated, along with a modular, enterprise-class routing platform that supports advanced security features and WAN bandwidth management.

In order to ensure availability over time, a successful SCM solution should be built on an application design, server architecture, and network infrastructure that can grow easily as your business grows. This is called scalability. The solution must provide the ability to easily provision more WAN bandwidth to meet peak needs, to scale with fluctuating traffic between vendors and partners, and to adapt quickly as supply chain partners are added or replaced. To accomplish this, the solution should readily accommodate new server connections, partners, and locations. Network routers should provide enough capacity to easily and economically provision additional bandwidth as traffic increases, or to add new locations as the geographic reach of the supply chain expands.

Each location involved in your SCM infrastructure will require dedicated bandwidth to meet the functions conducted at that location. This likely will involve some combination of the following choices and is dependent on the complexity of the deployed SCM system and the size of your organization:

- DS3 bandwidth, also known as a T3, is the reliable, all-purpose, digital connection for extremely high-volume requirements. Operating at 45 Mbps (equivalent to 28 DS1 circuits, or 672 DS0 channels), DS3 can provide a cost-effective solution for smaller locations in the SCM network. With DS3, you can link your high-volume host computers for resource sharing and load balancing.

- OC3 bandwidth is a fiber optic line delivering 155 Mbps (equivalent to 3 DS3 circuits) designed for those who expect constant, high bandwidth requirements. For a mid to large size business implementing a SCM system....this will likely be your choice for infrastructure backbone (e.g. headquarters) bandwidth.

- Gigabit Ethernet is a version of Ethernet, which supports data transfer rates of 1 Gigabit (1,000 megabits) per second. Large scale deployment of SCM systems and larger organizations will likely consider this solution.

The process to determine and than find the appropriate bandwidth solution for your SCM application can be a daunting task. Use of an unbiased professional bandwidth broker will save your IT staff countless hours of effort and headaches while guiding them through the technology minefields towards the best choice for system reliability and cost. I strongly suggest you take advantage of their expertise.

Evaluating Bandwidth ChoicesOC3 vs OC12 vs OC48

Looking for bandwidth? That can be a daunting and frustrating task even in the best of situations. There's lots to consider in order to make the right decision for your needs. Below you'll find some help when evaluating OC3 vs OC12 vs OC48. Factors covered include Technology, Speed, Description, Application, Pros, Cons, and Cost.

~~~~~~~~~
Technology: OC3
Speed: 155.52 Mbps
Description: Optical carrier (fiber) connected by equipment capable of speeds up to 155.52 Mbps.
Application: Large enterprise or ISP backbone.
Pros: Extremely high speed and throughput.
Cons: Extremely high cost.
Costs: Expect cost of an OC3 to start at around a $10-30,000 for a stable, reliable system (e.g. from a Tier 1 provider).....not including local loop or extensive setup. However....the pricing for these connections can vary widely depending on the carrier, location of service and the application for which the connection is being used. For example...Tier 1 providers may cost more than local/regional Tier 2 and Tier 3 providers but are much more stable and reliable. A Tier 1 provider should always be the provider of choice for any business serious about the quality of their OCx network.
~~~~~~~~~~

Technology: OC12

Speed: 622.08 Mbps

Description: Optical carrier (fiber) connected by equipment capable of speeds up to 622.08 Mbps.

Application: Large enterprise or ISP backbone.

Pros: Extremely high speed and throughput.

Cons: Extremely high cost.

Costs: Expect cost of an OC12 to start at around $1-300,000+ for a stable, reliable system (e.g. from a Tier 1 provider)..... plus several hundred thousand dollars in setup costs. However....the pricing for these connections can vary widely depending on the carrier, location of service and the application for which the connection is being used. A Tier 1 provider should always be the provider of choice for any business serious about the quality of their OCx network.

~~~~~~~~~~
Technology: OC48
Speed: 2.488 Gbps (Gigabytes per second)
Description: Optical carrier (multiple strands of fiber) connected by equipment capable of speeds up to 2.488 Mbps.
Application: Large enterprise or ISP backbone.
Pros: Extremely high speed and throughput.
Cons: Extremely high cost.
Costs: Expect cost of an OC48 to start at around $3-500,000 for a stable, reliable system (e.g. from a Tier 1 provider)..... plus several hundred thousand dollars in setup costs. However....the pricing for these connections can vary widely depending on the carrier, location of service and the application for which the connection is being used. A Tier 1 provider should always be the provider of choice for any business serious about the quality of their OCx network.
How To Get Cheap Internet Access
What is the best way for you to get cheap internet access that still suits the needs of people like me? Getting access to the internet in today?s world is almost a necessity. I know I could never live without my internet access. At the same time, though, if you are like me you don?t want to spend a fortune on your internet. Getting cheap internet access is possible. You just need to know where to look and how to get it.
Whether it is the purchase of cheap internet access or anything else, you need to first assess your needs. How much time are you going to be spending on line? How often will you need to log on and how fast do you need to get on once you get to your computer? These are questions you need to ask yourself so that when you go looking for cheap internet access you will know what you need to look for. Cheap is relative and will depend on what your needs are. For instance, you can certainly find a cheaper internet connection that is dial up and pay by the minute than if you need a high speed connection. Once you have figured out what you need out of your cheap internet connection, you can move on to your search.
Ironically, the best place to look for cheap internet access is on the internet. In order to start your search, find a connection somewhere. Check your local library or university to get on line and begin looking. Go to your favorite search engine and type in ?cheap internet access? and see what comes up. Start sifting through the top sites and see if anything tickles your fancy in the way of service and price. If you know you need high speed connection, or want dial up, or some other specific need put that in your search as well to get the services more specific to your immediate needs.
The second thing you can do is check for local internet service providers. Many local providers offer cheap internet access that will have a local connection. With a local company you may have better access to tech support or customer service should you have a problem with your cheap internet access. The other place you should probably check is with local schools and businesses who may offer cheap internet access on the side in order to offset server prices. It may be a bit of a long shot, but you may be surprised how many businesses offer cheap internet access, but don?t advertise that they have it.
Finding internet access, and maybe even cheap internet access, is almost a necessity today. We communicate through email, research on websites, and seek out old friends on alumni message boards. Each time, though, we have to get on line first without breaking the bank. Cheap internet access is obtainable you just have to know what you are doing. Figure out what your needs are then begin with an online search. Also, check out local service providers and businesses to see if they offer cheap internet access to the public. Once you have done that, you will have your internet before you know it.
Broadband Internet Does It Save Time And Money?
The Internet is full of information treasures. Millions of people from across the globe use the web to access information or some service. This ongoing and ever rising demand for Internet access brings us into focusing on the quality of web service you have to connect to the Internet. In the beginning the only way to access the web was through a standard dialup 56K modem connection. Not only was it slow, but it also prevented you from using your telephone as well. However, that was a time when people had no other choice to reach the World Wide Web. Do you remember those awful days?
Then came along Broadband Internet. It made its entry as a one-stop solution to these long delays in getting a page loaded or submitting a form and the lost or missed phone calls while browsing on the web. Not only does it work with your existing phone line, but also provided a download rate as much as ten times faster than in a dialup connection. Also with Broadband Internet you have the advantage to leave your PC connected to the web forever ? or as long as you wish. The bottom line is that such chances of frequent disconnections became eliminated almost completely. This could have never been done with dialup, trying to stay connected was always the biggest problem that I could remember.
Actually, broadband was initially introduced as a faster means for download and surfing. But the wide bandwidth enabled the broadband service providers to offer more facilities and features a conventional phone cannot imagine to provide even at a higher cost. Now an Internet user can download movies and songs in less time, read a quick article on a newspaper, or have a video chat with someone a thousand miles away. Also, for broadband users, if they want to take advantage of the VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol), it is possible to make long distance phone calls at a much lower rate than a conventional international dialer service.
From the foregoing, it is clear that the best mode of Internet access possible at present is through a broadband connection. It is fast, less taxing and cost effective, when weighing its pros and cons. That is, whether you get it for business purposes or personal use, the benefits a broadband connection could provide can easily cover the initial investments made in the matter of few months. So do I think that having broadband is worth the cost every month? You bet I do. Yes it might be a little bit more costly than dialup, but the headaches of dialups are of the past.
However, the choice lies upon the Internet user. Do you want to catch the current wave of fast communication or waste precious time with those slow dialups? It?s your choice!
Get Internet On The Go
Always wanted to tour the US in an RV but afraid to leave your internet business? Well now you can with satellite internet!
Yes, you can now have satellite internet hooked right up to your RV, car, boat or any other moving vechicle so while you are camping in Nevada, you can be emailing your friends back in Maine to tell them how nice it is! If you need to stay in contact with business associates, then this is your ticket to freedom.
While you are enjoying life on the road, you can be shopping, getting the latest news and even viewing satellite weather to help you plan your trip.
When you have your RV outfitted with satellite internet, you will have a state of the art internet connection. In fact, it will be one of the fastest internet connections you?ve ever used. The satellite feed to your RV comes from a satellite orbiting the earth and directly into the satellite dish mounted on your RV. With this connection you can surf the internet at amazing speeds.
But satellite internet isn?t just for RV?s. You can have it in your car, your boat and even on your house. If you have a catering service or sell products at fairs or shows, this type of internet service is perfect for you. Even in an emergency, you can get internet fast with a flexible and convenient satellite dish.
If you are traveling, your satellite internet can also give you phone service and a whole network of information. With a satellite, you can enjoy voice over ip which is technologically better than regular phone and costs less too! And the best part is that to use the phone via your satellite connection you won?t need to buy any special hardware or software and the voice quality is as good as that on your cell phone.
If you plan to do business son the go, you can get a VPN or Virtual Private Network with your satellite service. This effectively creates a private network between your satellite dish and the home office - a network that no one else can tap into so that your business communications remain secure even if you are thousands of miles from the office.
New advances in satellite technology open up new worlds for internet users. No longer are we tied to our desk, but we are free to move about the country and still be able to perform our daily work tasks.
Lee Dobbins writes for a2z-satellite where you can find more about satellite services including satellite tv, radio and internet.
Broadband Connection to the Central Sun
You may have noticed the expansion of consciousness that has taken place since the Harmonic Concordance. This is due to the new Broadband connection that has been created to the Universe?s Central Sun. This broadband connection of consciousness is on the level of the crystalline structure of your very being. It is using the full electromagnetic spectrum, which we mainly experience, through the twelve-chakra centres and in the DNA.
You?re feeling and emotions make this connection to these subtle energies, which can be found in your heart. When you transcend the physical body?s structure: By that I mean experience the consciousness of your whole body, the organs, cells, molecules, atoms and finally drop out into the field of pure consciousness, where you transcend time and space and experience life in its pure form.
When one is grounded by visualising energy roots going down into the planet. It is possible to take you awareness down these roots and expand your awareness or aura out to feel the whole planet as part of yourself. You can do this also to take in the solar system, the milky way or the whole universe, when your awareness is expanded in this way, everything feels apart of your self. Also you do not have to travel anywhere you just move your awareness around. Like within your own human body you just move your awareness from your head to your foot, when expanded you can move your awareness to any part of the universe in an instant just by having the intention to do this.
What are the advantages of the new awareness?
Synchronies in life seem to increase
Problem free living
I hope this is not sounding too scientific because I am putting into words, a process, which is more on the level of feelings.
